 The Sanctuary provides a fun, stimulating and well-rounded neighborhood program for teens and children after school. We provide supervised assistance with homework, one-on-one and small group tutoring services and access to computers with instruction available in our computer lab. Recreational programs, seasonal sports and playground time are also available to our youth and children. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, other activities include arts and crafts, holiday-related projects, monthly birthday parties, yoga, Taekwondo, chorus, drumming, weekly field trips and other enrichment programs. Behavior modification and conflict resolution create new ways for interaction with others. We typically have 45 children participating in our After School Program, ranging in age from 5 to 17. They receive positive feedback and encouragement within a fun, but structured environment where they expand their view of the world and the possibilities that exist for them beyond their current circumstances.
